why this challenge 

Sometimes, we just need a little bit more support in reaching our goals. Many of us go through the motions of daily life, showing up to work, trying to eat “pretty well”, getting in our workouts, but are held back from our truest potential, and are frustrated with a lack of results.

Maybe it’s too hard. Maybe you don’t think you have the self-discipline, or the knowledge. Maybe you aren’t sure where to start, or what you should be aiming for.

This  Transformation Challenge was designed for people who have serious goals, and who are serious about accomplishing them.

Whether your goals are to lose weight, gain muscle, improve your strength, create a sustainable, consistent routine, or increase your overall wellness, we will arm you with the tools to finally end the yo-yo cycle and build a healthy, sustainable future.

ACCOUNTABILITY IS KEY

Accountability is the #1 missing component of most fitness programs, and the #1 reason why most programs fail. You aren’t going to let that happen this time, because you’re surrounding yourself with likeminded people - your own personal cheer squad!

We will help you to set tangible, achievable Nutrition, Fitness, and Mindset goals - daily habits that will improve your life and health. You will measure your success through biometric analysis, fitness testing, mindset check-ins, and photos.

IT WILL NOT BE EASY

You will be pushed beyond your comfort zone - physically and mentally. You will be required to open up to your Coach and your team about your goals, which won’t be easy for everyone. You will need to share photos, and ideas, and participate in conversation. Because that is where the magic happens. And if there is one thing we can guarantee…

How  to get started?

  • Your first step is a complimentary 15-minute consultation with a Coach (in-person, phone, or online) to determine fit and answer any questions you may have, as well as set up your scan and accountability appointments.

  • Once you register for the challenge, you will receive instructions to book your "Plan for success" meeting and accountability check-ins, set up your nutrition profile and join the Private Challenge Facebook group

  • Each week, there will be 5 badges to earn:

    • 3 x Workouts (Hot Pilates (HIIT) or Hot Yoga)

    • 1 x Recovery (Yin Yoga or Hot Yoga)

    • 1 x Nutrition Challenge 

  • Earn all 30 badges and complete before and after biometrics to measure your own success

  • Celebrate your success with a team wrap-up party + prizes (Date TBD)

  • Dates to know:

    • Registration opens: May,25th

    • Goal settings, measurements Scans available: June, 4th-5th (other dates TBD)

So happy I decided to join. I'm an unlimited member and seen so much improvement in 3 weeks already, 90% of my pains are GONE. Just makes you want to keep coming more and my food choices are gradually changing too, and glad they have other types of classes to keep it fun and interesting, it's not just bikram.

Never have done yoga in my life! Having a construction background, I’ve really done a number on my body. Lots of injuries! Shoulders, hips, ankles ,wrists - you name it,- I’ve broken it or tore it. Having a construction background the idea of hot yoga did take some getting used to. I thought it very girly and not at all my thing. I was completely wrong! I like to think of myself as fairly athletic but hot yoga is a huge challenge! The stretching and conditioning poses have worked wonders on my soar joints! The staff have been nothing but encouraging and informative. All the way down to discussing in length the problem with my breathing and how I can better myself by practicing better breathing techniques. 5 stars to Hot Yoga Kapolei

Challenge FAQs

6 weeks? Social media? Sharing results? My name on a board? This seems hard. 

You know that saying "if it doesn't challenge you, it doesn't change you"? Well, it's true. This isn't going to be easy. And it's not for everyone. But it takes TIME to build healthy habits and see sustainable change - and that’s what this challenge is all about. So if you are done with quitting on resolutions after 3 weeks, if you are someone who appreciates a little accountability, and if you looking to make real, meaningful changes in your life, then let's f*&kin do this!

Is this a weight loss challenge?

The goal of the #healthysummer Challenge is to provide accountability, coaching, and support, regardless of your goals. Most of our past challengers do find that by fueling their systems more consciously, increasing their knowledge around macronutrients, moving sustainably, and focusing on consistency, they see shifts in body composition. But what is more important is what you will gain - a new support system, a new respect for your body, and tools to help you stay consistent and live your life to your fullest.

I don’t have/don’t want to use Facebook. Can I still participate?

This challenge is all about supporting your team mates and the power of community to create accountability. Facebook is the most accessible platform to allow that community with no additional cost to you, so in order to be eligible to complete the challenge and win the prizes, you will have to participate. It’s super easy to create a free profile - we can help if you don’t know how!

What if I can't start June 6th, or have vacation planned?

The entire purpose of this challenge is to create sustainable life habits and community that will support you through life - that includes all-inclusive vacations, wine-filled weekends, parties, illness, and work crunch times. Can’t get to the studio? Your registration includes FREE access to our Hot yoga Kapolei on Demand platform, which includes pre recorded workouts you can complete anytime, from anywhere! Also, you do NOT have to complete all the badges and all the classes in order to be eligible for the grand prize, and you can still participate in the online community.

Missing an accountability meeting ? Contact us to schedule a make-up. If you want to, you can absolutely be successful with this challenge - even with the little curveballs life throws. It just comes down to choosing to prioritize yourself.

I’m not a Hot yoga Kapolei member - can I still participate?

You bet! While members get first access, the challenge is open to everyone. Having said that, our members get the best rates AND the best results - so email us if you are interested in membership!

What is biometric scanning, and how does it work?

Biometric scanning is the most effective way to understand your body composition (percentage of muscle mass, fat mass, mineral, and water content). By completing two scans at least 6 weeks apart, you will be able to measure your success far more accurately than with a scale or measuring tape. The scan is completed by standing on special scale barefoot and fully clothed. Your scan appointment will be 30 minutes long and include a personal explanation with recommendations from a licensed and trained technician.

I don't want to do the biometric scanning. Can I still participate?

This challenge is about transformation and seeing the real, tangible results of your hard work! Every body is different and shows results differently - that is why we combine biometric analysis, fitness testing, mindset check-ins, and photos to help you see your progress and the results of your hard work! Having said that, we respect that scans are not a great fit for everyone (particularly those with a history of disordered eating or exercise disorders, or who are currently pregnant or have a pacemaker), so talk to your Coach and we can share alternate methods to track your progress.

How are prizes determined?

Prizes will be issued based on how you show up - for your community, and for yourself. There will not be a single grand prize winner, instead there will be many smaller prizes as selected by your Coaches and peers.
